How many other mommas that stay-at-home find themselves all over the place at one point or another?
It’s been summer break for us for a month now and I feel like this summer so far has been harder for me to be consistent with blog posting! At first I just thought maybe I was having writers block, but as I continue to reflect and understand why and how I can change it, I realized it’s been harder since schools been out. I guess that would make sense!!!
So after a few days on and off of wondering what the heck is going on I can finally move on to how to correct and adjust with it. I will say in the beginning of me starting my blog, I was harder on myself on creating content and articles and making sure I was posting all the time. Now, I give myself more grace, I am ok with not being and having a perfect blog, I am ok with not always being consistent, but I am always rooting for consistency regardless. I think it is key, I think it is necessary with anything in life that we want to do and be good at, however, I am not beating myself up when it doesn’t happen. One article that explains why consistency is good talks about why it’s good for entrepreneurs and those wanting successful businesses. This is great, however for me, it’s always useful to hear from a mom that’s in a similar position I am in, so I came across another article that was written by a momma named Raki that gives useful tips for running a successful business and being a stay-at-home momma.
I believe that equipping ourselves with useful and knowledgeable information will help us one way or another at some point, and sharing different ideas and thoughts on how to navigate it has always helped me feel better overall. That’s why I enjoy having a momma blog where other mommas are so upfront with sharing their views.
With one month of summer break left I find myself asking what can I do to be more consistent and balanced with having a great summer break with our son and continuing to focus and progress my mom blog and goals I have with that. I will always root to be more consistent and think that acknowledging when it can be better is just the first step.
A few tips on remaining consistent –
- Find the best time that will be uninterrupted for you and stick to it.
- If you can work on your side job while the kids play take advantage of it.
- Ask for help when needed.
- Give yourself grace and don’t get upset when it doesn’t go as planned.
Hey mommas!! Share your tips on being consistent, I would love to hear them.
